Lately dieters have been looking at other types of “natural remedies” that have been put to the test for weight loss. One of those supplements that Dieters have become more interested in, are those that contain bee pollen, because there is a common belief that bee pollen can play a role in helping you to drop the pounds quickly. It is actually not proven as of yet; there is little to no research that proves that claim.
Even though that is the case, some people have been using Zi Xiu Tang bee pollen supplements in order to try and help them lose weight. As you would expect, there are a number of other ingredients in the supplement that may play a role in it as well. – Bee Pollen, as we discussed above, does not really have a lot of scientific proof behind it, but it does have a lot of belief behind it, because many people who utilize holistic health methods will include it in their plans.
– Chinese Yam. This actually has some research behind it, but it was only performed in rats and mice in a laboratory, not on human beings who actually have much more complex systems. That being said, tests in rats can actually show some of the things that may occur in humans as well, so it all depends.
– Barbarry wolfberry fruit. This fruit is better known as “Goji berry,” which many people tout as something that helps with weight loss. There is actually a lot more behind this than there even is behind Chinese yam, because it has been proven to help increase metabolism in humans, thus resulting in weight loss. This fruit is incredibly versatile and you will see it in a number of different products, both that promote weight loss and overall health.
– Dietary fiber. This is, perhaps, the most controversial of all of the ingredients inside of Zi Xiu Tang Bee Pollen. Why? Because even with the ingredients above that have little hints that indicate that they help with weight loss, this is the key. Why? Because it’s a laxative, and therefore pushes everything out of your body before you have a chance to absorb things. If you take too much, it can actually hurt your diet more than it helps it.
Does it work?
This is a great question, and the answer is probably not. Going to the website, you see that they don’t even recommend for you to change your diet and exercise, which means that they are trying to tout it as some magic pill that can give you the answer to your weight loss without you having to put any work into it at all. This, of course, should make anyone with a bit of common sense have some skepticism about the product in general, no matter how good it claims to be.
Many people claim that they have seen results, but the issue is, the laxative is going to make you lose muscle before you lose fat because you don’t exercise while you are taking it. A healthy diet is going to recommend that you exercise so that you are burning fat instead of wasting muscle away. If the website doesn’t have enough of a scientific backing to indicate that you need to have proper diet and exercise for it to be effective, then you probably want to look elsewhere for a different product.
